In 2026, AN’s Facades+ conference series will take place in 15 North American cities, including San Francisco, Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Las Vegas, and Monterrey, Mexico. In each location, attendees will engage with presentations on the latest developments in facade design across a range of building typologies—from airports and mixed-use projects to historic preservation and adaptive reuse—alongside roundtable discussions on topics such as advanced manufacturing, embodied carbon, and circularity.

Facades+ San Francisco on January 22
To kick off the year, Facades+ visits San Francisco on January 22 with a thought-provoking program co-chaired by EHDD. The event will feature a range of projects, including 1450 Owens by IwamotoScott and DGA, AVIA Labs by Flad Architects, and Berkeley Commons by Gensler. Roundtable discussions will explore topics such as people- and place-based facade design and closing the gap between low-carbon design intent and built reality, with speakers from David Baker Architects, Foster + Partners, and other impactful firms.

Facades+ Atlanta on February 25
Next, on February 25, Facades+ lands in Atlanta for a full-day event programmed in collaboration with HOK. Presentations will highlight several exciting new case studies in the region, including Science Square at Georgia Tech by Perkins&Will and the Mary Schmidt Campbell Center for Innovation & the Arts at Spelman College by Studio Gang. Additional conversations throughout the day will center on mass timber, enclosures, and regional supply chains, as well as how performance drives facade strategies.

Facades+ Dallas on March 10
On March 10, Facades+ visits Dallas with a program co-chaired by Corgan. The event will focus on net-positive campus design, the relationship between parking structures and mixed-use developments, facade restoration, adaptive reuse, and related topics. Speakers from Corgan, Perkins&Will, Gensler, HKS, and KPF will present recent projects including the Wells Fargo Campus, JW Marriott Dallas Arts District Hotel, The Epic, Dallas County Records, and the Bank of America Tower at Parkside.
From a civic perspective, planning and code amendment experts from the City of Dallas will discuss how recent parking reform initiatives are reshaping architecture, development, and urban life. And, in a roundtable conversation, practitioners from industry and academia will examine advanced fabrication techniques through a digital lens.

Facades+ New York on March 26 and 27
On March 26 and 27, Facades+ returns to New York for a two-day event co-hosted with Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). The program will center on three themes under the umbrella of Materialisms: mass timber and the future of wood, the case for low-carbon concrete, and biophilia as a design strategy. The first day will feature in-depth presentations by AEC leaders including Mitchell Joachim of TerraFORM ONE and Julia Watson of Lo-TEK, moderated by BIG partner Kai-Uwe Bergmann, director of enclosures Margaret Tyrpa, and director of specifications Ben Caldwell. Attendees will also hear from ICON, Techne, Studio NYL, and more.
On the second day, Facades+ offers optional deep dives and technical workshops, where attendees engage in robust conversations with leading design professionals in an intimate, classroom-style setting. Workshops will include four tracks: Energy, Sustainability, and Resiliency; In the Details: Facade Design, Engineering, and Project Delivery; Multimaterial Facades in Practice; and Technology: Research, Development, and Design Tools. Facades+ Las Vegas at Coverings on March 31
Next, on March 31, AN brings a special edition of Facades+ to Coverings 2026 in Las Vegas. This robust half-day program will feature design case studies and educational sessions led by leading architects, engineers, and contractors, with a focus on the latest advancements in facade technology, materials, and best practices. Attendees can earn three AIA HSW credits; hear from keynote speaker Craig Copeland, principal designer at Pelli Clarke & Partners, and other AEC experts; and enjoy full access to the Coverings show floor.
Coverings is the largest and most significant ceramic tile and natural stone conference and exhibition in the U.S. and North America. Held in Las Vegas, Coverings 2026 will feature 1,100 global exhibitors from 40 countries and will set the stage for introducing some of the world’s most innovative tile and stone products. Attending Facades+ includes access to all three days of Coverings.

Facades+ Monterrey, Mexico on April 22 and 23
On April 22 and 23, Facades+ takes the stage for the first time in Monterrey, Mexico. This two-day international conference of AEC experts, co-chaired by Techne, will feature a range of recent projects from Monterrey, Mexico City, and across the broader region. Presentations will cover everything from design optimization for large-scale developments to lessons learned in supertall tower design, the evolution of facade strategies for supportive housing, and more.
As always, the second day will include a series of workshops led by leading architecture and engineering firms, offering opportunities to explore specialized topics in focused, small-group settings. Stay tuned for the full schedule!
Facades+ D.C., Toronto, Boston, and more!
On May 15, Facades+ comes to D.C. for an all day event co-chaired by Ayers Saint Gross, showcasing projects around the city that span topics related to preservation, high-performance university skins, and more. Looking ahead, Facades+ will also visit Toronto on June 4, Boston on July 23, Chicago on September 17, Denver on October 1, Vancouver on October 27, Los Angeles on November 5 and 6, Nashville on November 19, and Seattle on December 3.
