How to fix this, my brand new English willow bat.

I bought this bat barely a week ago, the shopkeeper said the wood is dry so make sure to do proper oiling. I kept procrastinating, I didn’t have a mallet at the moment so started the knocking with leather ball, had hardly knocked for half an hour, ik that’s not even close to enough, but I still took it for some throw downs, and guess what happened next. Bought the bat for ₹12000 ($150), it was my first proper English willow bat, and man I blundered, what shall I do next. The bat had many grains close to 16-18 for that price it looked like a steal, it had a few blemishes here and there but that hardly matters. I’ve heard more the grains, better the performance (not always, ik ping balance etc matters more), but less durable the bat and I guess that could’ve also contributed to it. The bat was manufactured in 2022, so quite old by that regard. The bat’s toe had really less ping and always felt suspiciously vulnerable but I guess that’s the case with majority of bats.

I’ve no idea what to do next, shall I use glue and tape, would that be enough? And shall I do oiling knocking afterwards, I’ve no idea tbh, pls help me out guys!!
