South Africa vs England LIVE Updates: ICC Champions Trophy 2025: South Africa have qualified for the Champions Trophy semi-finals, following a superb display with the ball against England. Led by Marco Jansen’s three wickets in the powerplay, South Africa pinned England down to 179 all out, the lowest total in Champions Trophy 2025. SA, therefore, have a target of 180 to seal top spot in Group B, and reached 69/2 after 13 overs. Afghanistan needed England to win by 207 runs to qualify for the semi-finals, and have thereby missed out. England skipper Jos Buttler – captaining his country for the last time today – won the toss and opted to bat against South Africa in the Champions Trophy 2025, Group B match on Saturday in Karachi.
